TONIGHT
AINT NOTHING BUT A BROMANCE HAPPENING: Just a short taxi ride or walk away from W Paris - Opéra is the Social Club. Tonight DJs and producers Brodinski and Guillaume Brière (The Shoes) host the second night for their fledgling record label. Both from Reims (as is Yuksek, what are they putting in the water over there?) the pair are clearly having fun with their new electro-house project G-Vump…. See you on the floor.
À quelques encablures du W Paris – Opéra se trouve le Social Club. Ce soir, les Djs et producteurs Brodinski et Guillaume Brière (The Shoes) organisent la deuxième soirée de leur jeune label. Originaire de Reims (tout comme Yuksek, mais à quoi ils carburent, là-bas ?), le binôme prend clairement du bon temps avec G-Vump, son nouveau projet electro-house… Tous en piste.
KICK BACK AND PRESS PLAY: Blunt beats, down-tempo basslines and soul samplings all spun together to make a psychedelic, forty-minute mix-tape entitled ‘Nvthin Bvt A Gvxxi Thang’ by Gucci Vump who are Guillaume Hinfray (The Shoes) and Louis Brodinski from Bromance Records. Stand out moment? A few (rave hits by Guru Josh and Black Box given a slo-mo make-over…) but ‘I Still Love You’ by Switch featuring Andrea Martin (Gucci Vump remix) at 13’21 is amongst the biggest.
